Remembering Kevin White
Former four-term Boston Mayor Kevin White (1968-84), who presided over the city during court-ordered busing to desegregate the public schools, died Friday at 82. After retiring from politics, White (Hon.’74) was the director of BU’s Institute for Political Communication from 1984 to 2002. His funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Church in the Back Bay. The service is open to the public. Photo by Kalman Zabarsky
