Super Moon
Last Saturday night saw the biggest and brightest full moon of the year, known as “supermoon,” when our celestial neighbor snuck closer to Earth than usual. At 11:34 p.m., the moon was about 221,802 miles from Earth—about 15,300 miles closer than average. Photo by Dick Taffe
