Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground Celebration

A week of festivities celebrating the opening of the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground’s relocated and greatly expanded new home at 808 Comm Ave culminated with a night of music, dancing, and food Saturday, January 25. Boston-area R&B, soul, and jazz singer Athene Wilson and guitarist Wali Ali, here performing “Mas que Nada” by Sergio Méndes and Brasil ’66, were among the entertainers.
