Myles Standish Hall Wins BPA Preservation Award
The Boston Preservation Alliance has honored the three-year, $133 million renovation of the almost century-old Myles Standish Hall with one of its nine 2020 Preservation Achievement Awards. Built in the 1920s as a luxury hotel, the building was purchased by BU in 1949 as a men’s dorm. Myles Standish Hall is the fourth BU building to be recognized with a BPA award in the past decade. A virtual ceremony honoring the winners will be held in October. Photo by Cydney Scott
