BU Running Club Fundraiser for St. Francis House

On May 1, the BU Running Club held a 24-hour fundraiser to help Boston’s St. Francis House, New England’s largest daytime shelter for the homeless community, deal with the effects of coronavirus. Runners from around the country videoed themselves for the club’s Instagram story, found under “Charity,” and at least one club member was running from 9 am May 1 to 9 am May 2. Among the runners raising more than $2,187 to help St. Francis House were Nate Giallanza (COM’23) (clockwise from top left), Haleigh Drew (CGS’20, CAS’22), Monica Posada (Sargent’21), Jeffrey Morrissey (ENG’23), and Neha Chinwalla (CAS’22).
