New Herb Garden at Warren
On June 13, a Campus Climate Lab team installed an herb garden on the Warren Towers fourth floor patio, with the intention of creating a living-learning lab for students to better understand the importance of urban gardening. Sidney Hare (CAS’22), who has worked on the idea for some time, and nine other students brought in crates, dirt, herbs, and flowers and got to work. They hope to add an educational kiosk in Warren soon to engage and inform students and be a starting place for garden tours. Students involved in Campus Climate Lab and BU Sustainability will maintain the garden. Photo by Lauren Richards (COM’22)
