BU Figure Skating Club Holiday Spectacular

The BU Figure Skating Club’s first big show since the pandemic made up for its absence with 31 performances—a mix of solo, small group, and large group—that skaters choreographed with student show directors and set to various classic holiday music, from Mariah Carey to the Jackson 5. The BU Hockey Club, the Ice Skating PDP class, and the a cappella group BU Forte also performed at the December 11 event, and skating club copresident Grace Knoop (COM’23) (above) skated to live music played by the BU Band. “It feels good to put on a great show,” Knoop said. “We’re feeling very accomplished, and it’s a fun way to end the semester.” Photo by William Chapman (COM’26)
