Ribbon Cutting for Sargent’s Center for Simulated Clinical Experience
Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences celebrated the opening of its Center for Simulated Clinical Experience December 13 with a ribbon cutting hosted by Chris Moore, dean of Sargent (center). The new state-of-the-art center, with its acute care hospital rooms and a radiology suite, mimics a real-world clinical setting so students can practice skills they’re studying in the classroom, work together across Sargent’s health disciplines, and learn from simulated patient interactions. Their immersive clinical experiences will include standardized patients who act out a variety of disorders, symptoms, and scenarios to challenge their diagnostic and treatment abilities.
