Holocaust Remembrance Day
Roberta Steinberg, a lecturer in the CAS Writing Program, reads the names of some of the approximately six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, during BU’s annual observance of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), April 8. The daylong reading event, hosted by BU Hillel and the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies, took place on Marsh Plaza. The date for the event corresponds to the 27th day of Nisan on the Hebrew calendar and marks the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Photo by Jackie Ricciardi
