Award-winning Brazilian poet Ricardo Aleixo reads from his work at a performance at the Rajen Kilachand Center for Integrated Life Sciences & Engineering, April 18. Considered one of Brazil’s most innovative contemporary poets, Aleixo during his visit to BU also attended a screening and Q&A of his audiovisual work and met with students for a conversation on the role of poetry and art in contemporary Brazilian politics.
