Wearable Microbiomes?
A little science-inspired crafting: those attending the Microbiome Day Symposium at CILSE July 12 were invited to create a wearable microbiome to take home, using beads set out in Petri dishes, representing various species of bacteria associated with a microbiome, the brainchild of Melisa Osborne, a BU research assistant professor. Hosted by BU’s Microbiome Initiative, the day had a variety of speakers and a panel of industry leaders in microbial science. Photo by Cydney Scott
