Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) (Hon.’21) Visits Questrom Class

Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) (Hon.’21) was invited to the Questrom School of Business class Business, Justice and Responsibility, taught by Kabrina Chang (CAS’92), a Questrom clinical associate professor, on April 23. Pressley, who attended BU’s College of General Studies in the 1990s, answered questions about the role of business in shaping laws and policies, how she collaborates with local small and large businesses to drive business growth, how business and regulation can mutually benefit each other, the importance of equity for all in her policy positions, the power of young people to advocate for change, and how AI is manifesting itself in Congress. The class was moved to the fourth floor conference center to accommodate about 75 students, staff, and faculty, more than three quarters students.
