Generous Gift Enables Metropolitan College’s Cynthia Cohen Dean’s Office
Celebrating Metropolitan College’s newly named Cynthia Cohen Dean’s Office: BU Board of Trustees Vice Chair Cynthia Cohen (MET’77) (from left), MET Entrepreneur in Residence Steven G. Akers (MET’94), MET Dean Tanya Zlateva, and MET Dean’s Advisory Board Chair Ralph H. Groce III (CGS’80, Questrom’82, MET’84). The Cynthia Cohen Dean’s Office was made possible by a generous gift from Akers, who has funded four MET offices dedicated to inspiring women with ties to the college. “MET is where you go to put one foot in front of the other. It just seems like there are an awful lot of women who are just that way…. They better humanity. They better themselves,” Akers said during the March 4 ribbon-cutting. Photo by David Green
