An Edible Brains Competition? Really?
Alice Cronin-Golomb’s annual Edible Brains Competition had a COVID-caused hiatus, but was back this year and better than ever. What is an Edible Brains Competition, you ask? The CAS professor of psychological and brain sciences tasks her undergraduate neuropsychology course students, among them Matilde Camplone (CAS’25) (from left), Lucy Godinez (CAS’25), and Andre Weiss, to create a brain from foodstuffs. They then compete in one of three categories: most anatomically accurate, most aesthetically pleasing, and most complex. Faculty and doctoral students comprised the judges of the November 19 competition. Photo by Jackie Ricciardi
