Fall at Morse

One of BU’s iconic buildings, Morse Auditorium, formerly Temple Atath Israel, was built in 1903, intended by the architect and the congregation to be a replica of Solomon’s Temple. BU acquired the building in 1968, naming it for BU benefactor and Board of Trustees member Alfred L. Morse (1903-1990). The building is used for classes and events. September 18 photo by Cydney Scott
