High School Students Take Field Trip to BU’’s Medical Campus
Four seniors from the John D. O’Bryant School of Math & Science—Nani Aragon (from left), Jalisa Lopes, Alyssa Rongier, and Alayah Robinson—take a closer look at a biopsy chart held by Della Carter, a BU laboratory manager (right), during a tour of the BU Clinical & Translational Science Institute on January 8. They were part of a group of O’Bryant students that took a field trip to the Medical Campus to tour BU’s various science centers and labs, learn about cutting-edge research being done at the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories, and receive mentoring on their yearlong capstone projects.
