2025 Holocaust Remembrance Day
Each year around the world, names of some of the millions of children, women, and men lost in the Holocaust are read aloud on Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. On April 24, sponsored by BU Hillel and the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies, names were read on Marsh Plaza from 9 am to 5 pm in 10-minute shifts. The reading of the names is an effort to ensure that the lives that were lost are never forgotten. Maya Sobel, an engagement fellow at BU Hillel, was among the readers. Photo by Cydney Scott
