Exhibit: Peace Corps: 55 Years of Global Engagement
As part of International Education Week (Nov. 14-18, 2016) the African Studies Library is offering the following exhibit and events. Peace Corps has changed the lives of its volunteers even as they made a difference in their countries of service. This is clearly evident in the growing literature written by returned volunteers. The African Studies Library's exhibit highlights some of the Peace Corps materials within our own BU Library collections. Stop by and see a variety of memoirs, field notes, photographs and Peace Corps publications on exhibit. Learn about some famous people who, it turns out, were Peace Corps volunteers. Last but not least, discover the stories of returned Peace Corps volunteers who live and work with us here at BU. Be sure to check out two events related to this exhibit: Conversations with former Peace Corps Volunteers"
