How to Donate Stocks to ASOR
To transfer stock to the American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR), please notify Selma Omerefendic at the ASOR office (617-353-6572), of your intention to do so and the purpose of your gift.
Please give the following information to your stockbroker or investment firm to transfer your stocks to ASOR's account with Charles Schwab:
- DTC # 0164, Code 40
- Account # 8171-7856
- American Schools of Oriental Research General Fund Account
Please note: With gifts of stock, it is very important that you inform ASOR of the name of your brokerage firm and of the name and number of shares of the stock being transferred. This notification facilitates the transfer and assures the prompt and accurate crediting of your gift. Without this notification ASOR may not know the source of the transferred stocks.
