The ASOR Archives

The ASOR archives houses materials A picture of a man using a camera in the desert.documenting a century's worth of ASOR's contributions to archaeology. The archive contains the papers of past ASOR presidents, records created by administrative bodies such as the Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee, and the Committee on Archaeological Policy, full runs of ASOR publications, and materials pertaining to excavations lead or participated in by ASOR.

The archives project is funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The goals of the project are to make the records accessible to the public by arranging the materials into discrete collections, describing the content of each collection, and digitizing materials of historical significance.
